Dr. Jon A. Carlson  D.C., C.C.S.P.R.

Jon graduated from Cameron County High School in 2001.  During his time at CCHS he was an accomplished athlete and scholar.  Jon received letters and awards in football, baseball, wrestling and track and field.

After high school Jon continued his education at Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA.  Jon was a four-year member of the Lycoming Warrior Wrestling Team and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in the spring of 2005.

After Lycoming, Jon decided to further his education in hopes of one day being able to help other student athletes of all ages achieve their goals.  Jon entered the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Logan University in Chesterfield, MO in January of 2006.  Jon completed the ten semester program on April 25th, 2009.  During his time at Logan, Dr. Carlson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science, his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and completed five NBCE National Board Examinations.  Jon was awarded the Health Center Achievement Award - In Recognition of Exemplary Clinical Performance and Academic Excellence.

Dr. Carlson completed the CCSP program and passed the national board exam in April 2011 to become a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians.

ACA Sports Council's main purpose is to provide service in the prevention, management and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. ACA Sports Council members are chiropractors and allied health professionals who demonstrate scientific leadership, involvement and dedication in the daily practice of sports chiropractic in their offices and on the field. The unifying interest of the membership is their concern with the effects of exercise the use of chiropractic services to enhance athletic performance and promote physical fitness. Sports Council members work with athletes of all levels, from novice to elite, and with sports teams and events from minor youth leagues all the way to the Olympics.
